I chose to not use their services. As they was really going to charge me 500.00 to cash a 5000 check. 500.00 that's rent for 5 second transaction. Why is this not illegal? I feel sad for people who have no other option no wonder these places are in low income parts of town. I just can't believe it.

The white short chubby lady who is in there now is the nastiest most rude person I have ever dealt with in there.and she definitely should not be working for your establishment. I will be calling in the morning to speak with someone from management, because when I say it took everything in me not to go off on her..

I had a $14,000 check from an established online car buyer (Whipflip). It was an out of state check (Wells Fargo). So I went to check smart to see about cashing it. For a half an hour, she acted like she was going to cash it. Then, she all of a sudden said this looks like a fake check. Then said if I took it any where and cashed it, that it would be a federal offense.she said she cashed Whipflip checks before, but she ask me what it was for. It even said on the check what it was for. So therefore she was lying about cashing Whipflip checks, because I took the same check to Ace cash express and the manager there says he has cashed Whipflip checks before and they are all printed out the same way. Needless to say, Ace cashing got my money to me and omg! I didn't get charged for a federal offense, because he verified the check and it was good. I'll never ever will go back to check smart until they get competent people working there. Especially at the Needmore Rd store.
