CheckSmart, Dayton, OH

This checksmart location is honestly one of the cleanest ones i have seen. The staff is wonderful they have been very help full the ladies are very nice and sweet The company should be lucky to have such a great staff they work hard are polite and the move fast Thank you checksmart for keeping such a great store.

I have actually not had any problems with this company at all or location until this day but I called today to this location 10 min ago to pay back my loan which I have always paid back on time and Jessica answered my call and was extremely rude. Kept cutting me off while I was giving my card information and didn't even thank me or tell me to have a nice day after I completed my payment. Makes me want to go to Cashland or some other loan place when I need a cash advance. If I do continue to use checksmart I will be calling a different location to borrow or repay which is a shame because this is the location I signed up at so I figured I could rely on them to be pleasant during repayment.

Paige refused to explain what a line of credit is. Demanded I drive 20+ minutes for a face to face explanation. I asked her If she just didn't want my business and she got really rude... I'll go to another location.

I didn't even get a loan here, someone I know did. They call me daily, sometimes numerous times a day, for over a week. I have told them at least 7 times to stop calling me. They keep calling. If they don't stop I'm going to file harassment or something.

Still haven't received my $25 gift card I was selected for, and get the same answer about it every time.. But friendly fast service, very accessible and the best checksmart in Dayton. They provide over the phone assistance w/whatever they can help with, and when you walk through the door, almost always a smile on the other side of the glass. Right next to the donut shop too, great location, great staff.

This site provides great customer service, a short wait time & are always professional & kind. They deal with a lot of stressed out, anxious &/or grumpy customers some days, but they never seem to tire in still wanting to serve folks in financial need with a genuine, caring attitude. I appreciate their patience & kindness!

Checksmart is a top-notch place. Ashley and Jessica, make the whole experience even better. They're both professional, friendly, and always ready to help. It's clear that they care about their customers and go above and beyond to provide excellent service. Can't recommend them enough! 5 stars all the way!

It was misleading to say the least. I applied online for short term funding with a company that sends your application to multiple lenders and I received a phone call from checksmart asking me to come in so of course I was under the impression that they reviewed my application and approved it or i wouldnt have been asked to come in right? That apparently was not so. I found this to be a waste of my time and very disappointing to be blindly lured into the store to be turned down without a reason why. Why list yourself on a platform for instant approvals and not even review applications? Very misleading! Do you get a bonus for foot traffic?
