This is my second time using OneMain for a loan. The person I worked with again was Cheryl. She is so pleasant, fast and informative. The OneMain website and app are both user friendly. The application process and signing process were simple and did not take very long to complete. I received my funds the same day. OneMain will always be my go-to for any loan I need in the future.

I applied for a loan to cover my tuition for school. They got back to me promptly to ask me some questions and let me know I wouldn’t be approved. No problem, I understood. The next day they call and wake me up at 9:10am even though I work late to ask me the same questions they had asked me the day prior and then tell me I was declined again......this happened three more times since then. Around the same time. Waking me up even though I work late to tell me my loan was denied. This last time they called and said “I actually don’t know why I called. Nevermind. Goodbye.” It’s very clear there is no communication and the customer service is quite low. Their number is now blocked on my phone and I hope to never be woken up early by them again.

I had a hard credit pull, which I didn't authorize so I called One Main in Elyria as well as Experian. When I called the Elyria branch, I was lucky enough to speak with Cheryl. Cheryl talked me thru the situation, on what to do and even how to improve my credit. I was amazed with her compassion and professionalism...she made me feel like I was her family! I didn't even apply for the loan, she didn't try to pressure me into one either...but rest assured, if I do in the future? I will call Cheryl directly!

Awful customer service! When I asked if we had a grace period the answer was rudely given to me as “yes, no, maybe” (sometimes we need an extra day or two)! I am still so blown away by how that lady talked to me. We’ve never had a problem with this company nor have we ever dealt with Cheryl before. Hopefully she’s not the face of the company. This will be the last time we deal with this company!

So let me start off by saying yes I was approved with the caveat of giving them the title to my car. When I tried to have an understanding of the loan schedule break down one of the gentleman named rich told me that it's basically like the rule of 78. I had to Google that and once I did I realize that I'm actually getting screwed. I only consider doing this loan to consolidate my credit cards to one payment but after jumping through hoop after who I realize that this was not the best thing for me so I personally denied alone. The major factor that helped me to deny the loan was reading up on the rule of 78. Trust me or don't and get screwed but trust me you don't want to do these kinds of loans. If you're doing this to consolidate credit cards just start paying them off and take the hit on your credit score for the time being. These types of loans are geared towards people that can't get conventional loans. The rule of 78 loans are bad for people with subjective credit.Thank you too rich for teaching me about how your loans work by giving me that title otherwise I would have never known. Now I need to start working with a credit union on getting a legitimate loan that doesn't screw me in the end

Sherry was great helping me come up with a solution I needed. I was hoping for an unsecured option but this really helps me get back on track and in a position to get ahead. I could hear her smile through the phone while she was helping me. Thank you so much!

Nothing on line worked at all. I came in and everyone was great. Took no time for the staff to finish my loan. Everyone that works there is great.
