We worked with Polaris Home Funding on a whim from a mailer we received. We were already thinking about refinancing and we took a chance and called them. The process was really straight forward and they were extremely responsive and answered any questions we had quickly.

I understand that time is money, but there seemed to be a few times that the cart was being placed before the cart. To have a check-off list might benefit Polaris and their customers. I was informed that I benefited because Polaris selected a lessor interest rate than they could have. This had something to do with owning a modular home vs a stick built home. Another issue in dealing with the home owners insurance. Polaris contacted the insurance company and informed the insurance company that the insurance would need to increase do to the loan amount. The insurance company took it that things were ready to progress and a close date was on schedule. There was no schedule date to close yet, we had another process that needed to be completed before there would be a close date. I know that I was considering to stop everything and contact someone else to look at refinancing. Granted I would have had to start this process all over again. Most if not all customers need the guidance and direction from you guys. When the flow does not go in order, trust starts to go away. Again, I would recommend a flow sheet or check off sheet that you guys would follow and as unusual things happen, modify the flow sheet to include these and can inform the customer of the possibility. All and all, I do feel things went pretty well. If I had a question or issue, someone was always available to answer my questions.

Awesome easy experience It was our first time refinancing our home. Brian and his team made it very easy. explained everything clearly. And were very personable and respectful. and would refer them to anybody else that I know going through the same process.
