Horrible bank. My father died and I followed all their instructions to cash out his IRA CD that he had with them. They did not follow my requests at all, sent the check ($21,000) to the wrong address, and do not follow up at all. Once I get my money out of here, I'm never coming back and I would not recommend anyone opening an account here. Edit: after I complained, they really went head over heels to fix everything and sent me a handwritten letter apologizing. They were quite quick to fix it when they learned of the mistake

My experience at this branch has been very disappointing. The woman I dealt with has the personality of a dead fish. She barely acknowledged my presence and couldn’t be bothered explaining procedure. I actually talked to the manager of the bank and asked to have a different person handle my loan. The next one was pompous and unhelpful. Ultimately they sent me back to the original banker, the one I didn’t want to deal with.

If you have a loved one that has their life savings in this bank. Move all money out. They don't follow legal estate documents or court ordered instructions It basically puts all burden on you has the executor to jump through more hoops. I don't have another bank to recommend. Just get funds out of this bank!

We have done multiple mortgages and re-fis with this location. We always have great service.

Absolute joke of a company. Stay away from these people........ I've got a dentist drill for 10 years and have done many real estate deals. Tried making a deal with this company.we supplied years or tax information and signed leases and still looking for more information. I believe this to be a scam........

Third Federal seems to be getting away from what made them one of the best banks around to deal with. Recently applied for their home fixer upper loan. The loan itself is not described properly on their website. The process was not as streamlined or smooth like past experiences were with this bank. Communication and knowledge of the products offered were severely lacking. The process took longer than expected or that it should have. Ended up being denied for a loan because our income was not low enough?!? Yes, that’s right, too LOW. I have never heard of a bank or creditor turning down a customer who was “too good” for a loan, but instead offering the best rates to the higher risk customer. This isn’t how loans and rates are supposed to work. It gets better, because our income was too high, we did qualify for one of the higher interest loans. Again… what?!? Imagine having history with this bank, the credit scores and the income but not qualifying for the best rate offered but a higher one. Sounds like bait and switch to me. No thanks…We will be looking elsewhere for future banking needs which I’m sad to say since I have history with this bank.
