Premier Bank, Montpelier, OH

Stopped by Premier last Friday to open a checking account. They had a little more than 30 minutes till closing, but teller tells me that there's not enough time to set up an account. So I go back today (Tuesday) with over an hour till their closing time. I was again turned away, was told I'd need to make an appointment. So, I went across the street to their competition and set up a checking account in about 20 minutes. The lady even stayed over 5 minutes to help. Piss poor customer service, Premier! I wish I could transfer my home loan to another bank.

First time we closed on our home when it was First Federal Bank, we had a pleasant experience. Now during a refinance after it turned to Premier Bank, not the same experience. They pulled an extra mortgage payment out of my checking account 6 days after closing and paying the home off. It's now been 9 days since they took the money out and have told me they wont be mailing me a refund check to fix their mistake until February 16th! With how the mail is currently, I might not have the money back in my account for a month after they took it! What if I needed that money to cover bills, food, gas? They took it. Would NOT transfer it back to my checking but demanding they must mail a check, weeks after it was taken. Absolutely the worst banking experience of my life. I don't ever leave reviews or broadcast negative experiences but this is not RIGHT! I am absolutely disgusted with how this is being handled!

Great bank and makes you feel at home. I have such a great experience every time I walk in to my bank thanks all that make it possible
