This place is the worst, my wife cashed a check over there, they asked for her social security, address, and references. They had her signed a form and they took her picture before they gave her the money. I think the guy discriminated against my wife because she’s black and she is not a resident of Ohio; I called latter the same day asking information about what I needed to cash a check, the lady who answered told to only bring my check and my driver’s license.

Went to cash a $550 check, only to be told I'd be charged $55 to cash it?!?! gave every bit of info including social & references/addresses & work info Went to Walmart and cashed it for less then $7 dollars, its ludicrous that a business would charge such for so little!!! as I'm writing this sitting in the walmart parking lot baffled that Checksmart tried to charge me over $50 to cash a single check UNDER 1K Moral of the story, just go to bank or use walmart, not here PERIOD

This location is listed on the IRS website as an "electronic return originator". When I called and ask for the person mentioned on the IRS website the person on the phone got upset and said she couldn't give me that information. I asked again, she repeated and then hung up. What kind of business is that? Ridiculous!

Was there for me when needed ive paid consequences of going default but im not complaining a bussiness must take its necessary action to get back what you agreed on and if you need just for couple days they charge nothing extra than what you borrowed now thats very very fair plus they have awesome referral program overall they are of great help when needed

I would never deal with this place again. I wanted to cash my refund check and I was told I need to show proof of my return. Really? I looked on their website to see if it’s states you need to do proof of your return and it doesn’t. I see a lawsuit coming. And also the girl who was working is slow and dumb

I love every single one of these people that work at this place and they will completely have your back and help you through anything that you need! I don’t like to mention names in reviews, but Jessica, Tia and all the team are extremely knowledgeable and will help you in your hardest times! They will help you figure life out! Unfortunately, I’ve had to use them just because of my situation and not because of them and this is a wonderful place to go with caring people! Love them!

Great customer service - the few times I've needed them and been in a jam, very helpful. Tia (hopefully spelling it right!) is PHENOMENAL. Always answers/answered any questions I've had and very polite. They explain terms, how things work, very clear. They also make sure to keep you updated when payment is due and you have multiple ways to make payments.
