This place is a joke. Our son got a loan thru these jokers of 12 grand, never missed a payment and payed the vehicle off. He went back to get another loan to purchase another vehicle because a deer ran out in front of him and totaled the car. They approved for a $5,000.00 loan and when he found a vehicle, it was $3,600.00 and he even had $1,000.00 down to put on it and they wouldn't approve it because the vehicle was not $5000.00. I would never do buisness with these clowns.

I personally recommend that you do not bank here. In the many years I've had an account with this institution I've yet to come across personnel who genuinely care about account holders and their financial health. Whether that'd be consultations on saving, budgeting, investing, or just increasing your financial portfolio in general. And if you're seeking to better your credit by getting advice on how to do so, or where to start at least, then this is definitely not the place for you. Don't be fooled by the name of this establishment. Yet there's no problem when it comes to monthly fees being deducted from your account. Honestly, you're better off using a service like Chime because, ironically enough, you'll get better service, and the benefits that come with it.

My experience with Advantage Credit Union has been excellent. I now have my car loans, home loan and credit card with them. Their staff is kind, easy to work with and very responsive. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

"As a member, you become an owner, a friend, and someone we’ll help out when times get tough." Straight from their website and the biggest lie. I had a loan through them for 3.5 years, I always paid a week earlier than my due date, never late and always paid what was due. We ran into some financial hardships and when I asked for an extension for my loan they were rude and kept saying "that's not something we do more than once, do you ACTUALLY need this? You only get ONE". Then we applied for a different loan and they gave us a million reasons as to why they wouldn't help us. Times got tough for us and they didn't want to help us out. I will NEVER use this company again and I WILL NEVER recommend them. I am very disappointed in this company.

This bank is a joke! Zero customer service! My dad has been a member for over 30 years, and I was told today that they would prefer I close the account. I'd advise banking anywhere but here.
