This was our first mortgage, during a TERRIBLE post-Covid housing shortage. Brain took a VERY intimidating and complex process and made it very clear to us. He was the patient, responsive, articulate guide we so desperately needed. We had so many phone calls we had where Brian patiently explained how a mortgage works, ran financial scenario numbers for me, or gave me clarity on the do's and don'ts of taking out a mortgage. He even helped us get our credit score up into the next bracket by the time we were ready to actually apply for a mortgage! I cannot recommend enough. After working with Brian at Fairway, and the excellent team at Fireland Title Co. for about 8 months during our home search , we felt 100% comfortable buying our first house without using a realtor. That's how much he demystified the financial side of the home buying process. He educated us, and put us in control of our own financial future. I am so incredibly grateful for that. Some other positives: -The extensive use of digital signature portals (DocuSign, etc) was vital in vastly reducing our family's logistical burden. We could review and sign documents in minutes on our phone, instead of taking days and multiple trips out to meet people and exchange physical paper documents. This sped the whole process up exponentially. -We were NEVER pressured, or targeted with a sales pitch. Brian was genuinely there to help us, not to upsell us to some more profitable loan product. -Brian knows the landscape and the players in the NE Ohio real-estate market. His experience was really helpful in helping confirm or avoid other business relationships throughout this process. -Brian's team was extremely responsive in processing our documents. I can't once remember having to wait on them to do their job when the ball was in their court.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Brian and Fairway were very professional, organized, responsive, timely, and attentive. We closed on our home in less than a month.
