The first initial phone call was okay. Then communication just dropped. Which would be fine if I wasn’t a first time home buyer that had questions. I had to reach out to see if he had a preapproval done, which is fine, but after that there was no communication. I ended up calling the guy my parents went through. Eventually after I waited 8 hours (business hours) for my question answered I decided to go to with another lender. Hopefully other people have a much better experience than I did. He’s knowledgeable, but his communication sucks.

After dealing with Marty for a while I wasn’t quite sure if he worked for fairway or Midwest mortgage with the amount of business he is giving them. I have had an absolutely horrible experience with this guy. There were countless times i was left without any knowledge of where the loan stood and what was being done with it. I tried reaching out to him, but he won’t text or call you back no matter how many times you try to contact him. He will communicate with everyone else besides you. Let alone this company will share all your personal information with your realtor without your permission. Which is not something any company should ever do. They will also run your credit several times in a row and won’t tell you why. In my experience with him, he ran the Co-borrowers credit several times with out even getting verbal permission to do it in this first place. This company will violate your personal rights as well as your privacy. This company has broken multiple real estate rules. I would not recommend Fairway mortgage to anyone. If you need a mortgage don’t hesitate to call mike Gill with Midwest mortgage and get things done the right way!
