Third Federal Savings & Loan, University Heights, OH

BEWARE when you move funds between your IRA accounts at this Savings & Loan. According to IRS, if done within 60 days, it's a non-taxable rollover. In my case, this was done within a few minutes. However the teller didn't know and entered this as a taxable distribution, despite my explanations. Now I am on my own trying to explain all this mess to the IRS, and I believe the fees to do so start at $500. I have done rollovers before at this bank albeit at a different branch, and never a problem up until now. This is unbelievable. The tellers, of all people, should know what they are doing. However this isn't happening, at least not at the Cedar Center branch. BOTTOM LINE: I do not recommend having business with this bank.
