I went to pay my car note with $100.00 cash and a inter fund transfer from dayair credit union. The teller took the money out my dayair credit union account, but instead of paying my car note paid an entirely different customer's account. The main branch of Dayton fixed the transaction and stated that the Alex Rd. branch manager would call me when my account was fixed. Never received a call. I will never do a transfer with them again. I will just have Dayair initiate it. When my car loan is paid off, I will never bank with them again.

While the people are friendly, you have to go through third parties just to make an online payment... to a bank. River Valley has a disclaimer saying that "River Valley’s Privacy Policies do not apply to this third-party site", even though you have no choice but to make online payments that way. Nothing about the online portion of the bank makes any sense at all, and you'd think that a bank would take some more pride in the one required method of interaction between the customers and the organization.

Called to get information about my auto loan. I just needed some info. Clearly this was a burden to the poor lady that had to answer my call. EVERY question I asked met with clear frustration that I was asking questions. I’m sorry I burdened this place as a customer. I’m going to refinance and go somewhere else that appreciates my business.

Usually have a good experience here. Do not like having to announce a password within earshot of everyone at the other teller stations.

Always great friendly customer service. Very helpful in resolving a situation that I had.
The coin changer machine is just so amazing for me to convert for cash on trips.

My husband got a loan for a $1000, he made 8 payments of $140 every two weeks and after calling to inquire how much he owed they had told him that hes balance was of $1131 how is that possible???? Meaning all the payments he had sent were going to interest only. What a scammm on top of that when he asked what the interests were they wouldnt give him a straight answer.

If you’re in need of a loan this place is wonderful. Their payment options are easy and manageable. When I fell behind on my payments instead of charging me extra they game me a settlement option for much cheaper. I’m very happy with the service I received

Don't expect to have a good experience with this credit union.
I have been a member for quite some time now and the last 2 years have been hell. First of all, they charge you to deposit your ACH transactions now. Something they used to use and rope people in with, "get paid up to 2 days early with our new mobile app." Now you can still get it early, but for $6. Not to mention it won't come out of your deposit, you MUST pay it out of your account before the ACH will be deposited.
Being a member for almost 10 years, they STILL hold my deposits for 5-7 business days. I never overdraft, but I happened to run into a little issue with $15 bill on auto pay. I tried to send the $15 over to my account to cover the bill and they blocked my transaction AND sent me a $33 overdraft fee!! I called the fraud line and they suggested I call the member service line. No answer after 3 calls. I'm sick of this place. I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. They will fee you to death and keep your money.
