Truity Credit Union, Bartlesville, OK

The only thing which would make Truity a better place would be to offer better rates on mortgage loans. They are so risk adverse they don't offer any first time home buyers programs, or even loans for this area of the market. Other than this Truity has good rates, and offers all of the services major U.S. banks offer.

Stay away from Truity. They're not good. Horrible people. They charged me $7000 because State Farm made a mistake. Then proceeded to refuse to take off the $7000 until they finally cut it down. Now they're trying to charge me $1500 a month. I've always heard bad things about Truity but didn't think it would be that bad. They are.

AVOID THIS CREDIT UNION BY ALL COST. They do not care about the customer. From time to time life tends to get the best of a person. No matter who you are. Especially after covid. In my circumstances it was time. This is the worst year I have ever had in my life because of dealing with these people. They are literally ruthless. I usually go through my credit union so this is the first time I stepped out on good faith, due to interest differences and the time strain of having my first child. But Now I regret it and wish i would have stuck with my financial institution and payed just a hair of higher interest rates. I will not recommend to anyone and I will warn others of this institution. Companies like this are why we the people do not trust the banks. I should have done my research on this place beforehand.

Classic Chev helped me finance my car thru there. The interest rate was kind of high but I was in a bind. I live in Tulsa so Bartlesville was little inconvenient so I refinanced with my credit union in Tulsa. Truity made it easy to close my account. My only real issue with them was the wait time on the phone.. 12 minutes was a little excessive but they were friendly

When my mother passed away, Truity took it upon themselves to reject my mothers SS deposit. I called and asked why. They told me that they can do that based on an obituary notice. As a CU if you know anything about SS, you know that a deposit from SS is a month in arrears. I am an only child dealing with all of her affairs and I am out of town. It took me six months to get this cleared up and now I am having more issues with it. Also, the account with my mother was a joint account. It took me 8 weeks to get a debit card on the account because people at the bank wouldn’t follow up after I sent in paperwork. I constantly got the run around with this credit union. I made appointments at the bank and then they canceled it because they didn’t want to hear my concerns or complaints.

Terra Bayless was so helpful when I called about a loan application. She went the extra mile by taking my phone number and calling me when it was approved. The process seemed effortless, and I’ve never had a loan application and experience go so smoothly. Thank you!!!

Not easy to make payments online and they want to charge a 20$ fee per payments if you make it over the phone. I will never use truity again I have never had this hard of a time making a loan payments.

I love this credit union. They have free coffee and popsicles in the summer. 100 dollars if you open checking.
