Check Into Cash, Edmond, OK

I'm still fuming from this ridiculous experience. There was one person ahead of me that took 20 minutes to get through before me. I just wanted to cash two checks. The lady had me sign both of the checks and then proceeded to tell me she was unable to cash them due to an unknown error message neither She nor her manager on the phone knew anything about, great. I have cashed through this payroll service before without issue so there should have been no problem whatsoever. The bank that issued the check is Wells Fargo, one of the largest in the nation, and the payroll service was through Paramount plus, yes the one from hollywood. Slow, irresponsible, ignorant. I can't think of any better (non - 4 letter) words to describe what I just went through. The fact that I have signed my checks has doomed me now because no one will take pre-signed checks. She suggested I go to a place that was 20 minutes away in 104° heat after I had already waited and sweated in the overly hot Lobby all this time. I do not have the gas in my car to even be able to do that. I get to go home and have my phone service shut off because of this. Please rethink your entire establishment.

This place is a joke. Went in to cash a money order because the bankruptcy attorney I got it for did not end up needing it. This was the 9th (IM NOT EXAGGERATING) place I went to. For some reason it’s impossible to cash a money order without a physical branch of a bank (I have an online bank). I am beyond frustrated so walking into this place and the man being beyond rude and having no customer service skills was the last straw. What happened to kindness? He tells me he wont cash it, I say won’t because he could have, because it’s a “company policy”. What a joke. Why is this place even there?

For those curious about gift card exchange, they pay 50% of card value. Pretty weak when you can get close to 90% online for the big ones. (Best Buy, Wal-Mart, etc) Not an indictment of this particular location as I assume it is nationwide policy.

These negative reviews are false and should be overlooked. The staff here has ALWAYS been very helpful and has made sure I am taken care of. I would highly recommend this location over other loan services any day of the week.
