American Exchange Bank, Henryetta, OK

Banked with them because I bought into the idea of using a smaller bank so i wasnt "just a number". So far every single other bank that I've done business with has been both cheaper and more accommodating.

Been with this bank 27 years. It's slowly went down hill it was a amazing bank when Foster Garet ran it. Then Terry took over and it went down hill. I went in to get a loan two days ago for $7600. This loan would alow me to pay off a 4 wheeler that is at 27% interest and trade it and $3000 for a Harley at 9% interest. This would drop payment from $200 a month to $150 a month and save 18% interest. I have never defaulted on any loan with this bank. I have 2 collections on my credit from 3 years ago with defrent company. I am fighting with the other company to get the accounts right. I was told that I can not have anymore loans with American Exchange becouse I have those collections on my credit. You would think after 27nyears of not defaulting anything they would have more customer loyalty. I guess it's time to find new bank that will apresheate it loyal customers. I also talked to new President that is taking over for Terry becouse she is retiring and he said there's nothing he can do that's how it is now.

I dont find the drive thru hard. You have to gage ur distance wisely. All tellers inside and out, are very professinal but not to the point of Stiffnes. Good job, ladies and gents.

Every experience is a positive one. Everyone is always very nice and helpful in every way.

This year the greedy owners decided to charge 3 dollars per transaction at a transfund ATM even with a transfund card. Pure greed, will not do anymore business with this institution.
