Umpqua Bank, Baker City, OR

Today we needed to start a new account due to moving to Baker. My husband and I had walked into another downtown bank and were completely ignored. We waited with no eye contact from anyone at the Old West Credit Union. When we walked into Umpqua Bank, we were greeted warmly with coffee or tea and told that someone would be with us shortly. Chastity Anderson helped us for over 2 hours deal with some difficult SS issues concerning changing from an old bank . As recently retired seniors we felt welcomed to Baker and supported in our new banking venture. Thank you Chastity!!! Most would have given up and told us to come back after we figured out the problem. We appreciate customer service like this and will do our future banking with Umpqua!
