Old West Federal Credit Union, Burns, OR

I’m from out of town. I needed a cashiers check for a real estate transaction. I am a member of a credit union in California. The people at old west were not interested in helping me in any kind of way. No cashiers checks for non members. I asked to open an account. The manager said I did not qualify because I was not local. She was quick to think of a way to get out of serving a potential customer. I went next door to SELCO. The teller was just as quick to think of a way that she could serve. Many credit unions belong to a network. She looked mine up and sure enough she had access to my account information and had no problem selling me a cashiers check. No manager necessary. If you like customer service, maybe don’t go to Old West.

This bank is grate for a eastern Oregon resident!!!! If your from out of town use US bank. Otherwise Old West is a great choice!!!

Poor customer service rude can't make any exchange with out being a member of there bank so hope corporate see this it's wrong and in ethical
