Umpqua Bank, Corvallis, OR

This bank is a huge scam. Not only is the overdraft fee 35$ but they dont send you ANY notifcation if there is an incident. I had 2$ in my account before i went into surgery. Called PF and paused my account ( they didnt pause it, the manager even apologized and said he would happily explain to the teller) they charged me 20$ and I was overdrafted 80$ not only did the PF charges GO THROUGH they charged me 2 seperate oversdraft fees and refused to refund it. Im going to keep fighting to get my money back but once I do im leaving this bank FOR GOOD. Had multiple fraud charges on my account with again NO PROTECTION OR NOTIFCATION. Banks are shady as it is but this one and bank of america are truly the height of capitalism. Im going to a credit union ✌️

Literally refused to stop misgendering me after being asked, ive transitioned fully, and there was no reason for it after correcting them. "im from a different generation" is no excuse to continue doing so. I have a beard and no chest, strangers do it right, so can you.

The people are usually friendly, but every transaction takes much longer than you would expect and the bank does not offer very common services that are standard at other banks. I found myself in a situation where in order to do a bank to bank transfer between two of my own bank accounts, I would have had to pay a $30 fee. Also, using their online banking system has been a constant headache. I have trouble every time, yet none with my other bank's online system. I'd try another bank in town.

The tellers are more professional and know how to do slightly advanced transactions, so much better than tellers at other area banks.

Worst bank ever.. waste of time to bank here.. go somewhere else save yourself the headache.
