Umpqua Bank, Rogue River, OR

Recently moved to the area and had to switch from Bank of America. The folks at this branch are patient and helpful and service is top notch. Glad I made the switch to a local bank with small town service.

The tellers are nice but I always have to wait for someone to help me. They put the cookies behind the counter and most tellers make you ask for one rather than offering. Maybe too many people took advantage of the free cookie on Friday but if they are going to put them behind the counter the least they could do is ask you if you want one instead of making the customer ask! The interest rates are very low. My son has an account and makes only 1 cent interest a month. The cookies are worth more than the interest given. Also, the online banking has glitches. I have 2 accounts and when I logged in I was told I have no accounts to display. This has happened to me twice.

We transferred our accounts here from a large national bank. I love the atmosphere of the small bank: friendly and helpful staff.

I had a joint account here with my aunt when we lived together. I really wish we hadn't closed it, they are a great bank, very friendly staff!
