My first time in a WaFed bank a couple days ago and my experience was EXCELLENT!! I visited the Waldport branch and was assisted by very competent and genuinely sincere employees. Raynette. Moe and others helped me with my dad’s accounts and dealing with his estate. This is truly the definition of a small town bank where the employees truly care for their customers!! Thank you thank you thank you!!

I just moved to Waldport and I've been deciding between 1st Security or WaFd to open a checking and savings account. I got my answer today. I went into WaFd for a couple rolls of quarters. The teller wanted my drivers license and proceeded to do data input for well over 15 minutes. She asked for my social security number. She wanted to know my last place of employment and then she wanted to know what kind of work I did. At that point I left. I think these people take bets on how long it'll take to get rid of the person wanting quarters. It's a really shabby way to treat the community where your business is. Please don't even bother with your computer generated response to this.

Kudos to Krysti and Raynette at the Waldport branch of Washington Federal for their very capable assistance today with some complicated account changes related to Medicaid requirements. There's no substitute for good people when you need help with banking needs. I am grateful for their kindness and dedication!

I went in to exchg a $20 bill for 2 rolls of quarters.
The power stricken I'll informed emoloyee requested I fill out a slip of paper with a ton of sensitive data.
Upon inquiry, she explained, " The feds want to know. They are interested in money laundering!", she added .
* I'm thinking...no I said coins for the laundry. *
So the bank is illiterate in terms of federal regulations . I absolutely would not entrust my monies to them for any reason.
I went over to the next Block and promptly, politely recvd the exchange at Security Bank.
Zero Stars for federal financial regulation knowledge and customer service.
Lesa Henson, a fire evacuee just need I ng to do my laundry away from home.
