PSECU is horrible! I needed to open a business account, had to open a personal account. I did, never got an ATM card etc. Opened my business account, never got access to it via app or online. Was told that it was probably the browser I was using. I was able to access my personal account but not my business account. Makes zero sense.

If you don't mind a company completely blocking you from accessing your account and money when you fall on hard times, then go ahead and join psecu! Oh and don't bother co signing for anyone either! If they fall on hard times, psecu will block access to their account and YOURS as well!! They feel that accessing your account by any paperless avenue is a privilege that they will withhold from you, even if you are just a co applicant!

Don't let their introductory rates and low interest rates hook you. If you ever run into financial issues and fall behind on a payment, they remove your online access to your accounts as if its a privilege to use online services. Both me and my wife are long time members (over 12 years each) and used to love their services, but over the last year or so they went from friendly, helpful and caring for their customers to full on ninja loan Nazis! I've personally gotten 14 members from my own family to faithfully bank solely with this institution despite the many inconveniences of not having any physical branches and so many hoops to jump through to join this circus. Let's say not a single one of them can agree the service they provide is worth the hassle. Such a shame to see such a great institution turned into a greedy inconsiderate corporation that my whole family's money helped build. What can you expect from a State Employee run organization. I guess we should have seen it coming.

They started me off with $50 just for joining and they try their best to make sure I don't get any surcharges when making transactions and best of all they gave me some checkbooks for free I love this place I wish I knew about them when I 1st came to Pennsylvania
