We worked with 44 Capital on a project to finance a cafe and parking lot. The person I worked with, Debra Godt could not have been more helpful and professional. We own several small businesses and after working with many banks over the years Debra was the first person who actually took the time to fully work through our complex tax returns and get a true picture of our income. I would definitely work with them again on future projects.

Very interesting to see that about Scott Stevens, Berkshire Bank/ 44 Capital. He led us on, and on, and on. He eventually just gave up completely on our loan after collecting $2500 for nothing. Can you guess how much the costs were on our deal when he gave up? You got it! $2580, but he let the $80 slide. After this experience we found a loan officer who had a pair and got the deal done painlessly... with no upfront BS fee. Do NOT recommend, will give up and will lead on and collect fees if he can.
