Mid Penn Bank, Minersville, PA

I recently moved to Pottsville area and transfered my acconts all to Mid Penn bank. Since I have dont this I have had to call the bank for one reason or another with things that they have screwed. They lost a check I deposited, they sent a payment back to my mortgage holder saying I had insufficient funds whent the payment was $206 and I had $1100 in my account, etc. I would not refer anyone to this bank

I've been with this bank for years and had never been any problems, friendly staff and service everytime I'm there

I have banked here since the early 1990s when it was still Miners Bank. Every time I go here, I see a new face amongst the tellers, and they look like they are right out of high school. Maybe hire tellers who are a bit older and might appreciate the job and stick around for longer than a month. Also, I am not sure why Lee Ann was promoted from teller to assistant branch manager because everytime I dealt with her as a teller, she ranged anywhere from indifferent to slightly rude towards me.

Switching from another bank to here now. I have to say Sandy has been fantastic to deal with. My old bank was never this friendly or welcoming. Look forward to banking with Mid Penn and also getting higher interest rates than the old bank.
