I called for a payoff and I was given an amount, unfortunately for me they did not tell me that a payment was just about to come out so it would include that payment, so I proceeded to pay the amount quoted. Just as I stated another payment tried to come out but it was reversed because to my knowledge this account was paid in full. I received a text saying that there was a return payment, so I called. They told me that the amount they quoted me was including that pending payment (which they NEVER said when I called) . So I was charged an additional $50 fee for a return check (which I blocked because in my mind I paid the account off) nonetheless I asked could they waive they fee as a courtesy and technically that was their error and they out right said no! Listen people, if you guys are willing to pay these outrageous interests rates you are better off checking out Avant, they have lower rates and better customer service.

I was pre-approved with credit Karma my acceptance rate was very good so went forward with the application I was told was approved for a little less than I applied for but was okay with it. They told me to upload my documents I did I got a phone call asking me more questions and was asked twice if I had a boat or an additional car besides the one I provided. I said no and the lady said well okay based on the answers you provided your not approved. After you told me I was, now I’m not. My credit score went down for nothing. It was a scam.

Avoid working with One Main Financial - please look into other options. They will take advantage of you, and I should have done more research before deciding to work with them. Six weeks later and I am still working on a resolution with them. #Scammers

I had recently applied for a loan for 3,000 and was turn down because I didn’t had a co-sign and my car Wasn’t paid off .. these days no one is having people all in they business and sure not doing a loan when they have they own debt.. they make you do all this and giving them your bank information for nothing… I just get a sec job to make ends meet smh
