Your staff is the bomb (very professional, pleasant and knowledgeable). We love your website where we were able to see the status of our application through the entire process. If we called or emailed anyone at Spring EQ who was working with us, responses were provided right away through the ENTIRE process. The entire process was completed in RECORD time. We never saw a company process go so...smoothly all the way through like Spring EQ. I love how your company reached out periodically to see how we were doing through the entire process. My experience getting a home equity loan was pretty good. Rashid (lending agent) was very helpful and fairly communicative. My loan closed in 13 days (even with a full appraisal, which you'll have to do if your DTI is over 43%). I even got a discount on my rate. My two complaints would be that they don't waive closing costs like other lenders, and the processor, Brandon, messed up on my paper work on the last day which actually ended up delaying my funding by 3 days (weekend). I still feel comfortable recommending this company. The entire transaction was ALMOST perfect.

Recently got approved with this lender. First of all they took 2 months to get me approved with a high credit score and providing the ton of documents that they requested right away still took that long...And now trying to get if hold of this company on the phone and by emails is a big challenge cuz nobody answers. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS LENDER AGAIN.
Please get another bank that cares and more efficient. I don't recommend it at all.

Our first communication with Brandon was great. He answered all questions we had and pulled out credit and sent us through for a home equity loan. He sent us paperwork to sign and a list of documents to send over which we completed within the hour. We were then transferred to Michelle, who I never got a response from until I finally reached out to Brandon and her supervisor. Once I finally got a response, more documentation was asked for. Not a big deal, also had that sent over the same day. Then we were asked to list another company as a second lien holder. Got that situated. So then I asked where we were in the process and Michelle told me we were looking to close Thursday which this was on Monday, and funds would be available the following Tuesday. Okay, great. Just checking because we were told to hold off on making payments to debt that was being paid off with the loan. Thursday comes and I receive another email
“ After initial underwriting review we have determined additional information is necessary to help us make a decision on your loan application. Your application has been placed in verify restructure status to allow for your loan officer to update the file with the additional information we have requested. Please contact your loan officer at Spring EQ as soon as possible to work through any items that may be needed and confirm next steps in the process. “ So I immediately email Brandon and Michelle. Didn’t get a response. Called Brandon twice, he did answer the second time and said he wasn’t entirely sure on what was going on except that a lease that we had on a piece of equipment was now showing up, that didn’t initially show in the credit report, and that he was going to reach out to his supervisor to see what we could do. So now it’s Tuesday and never heard anything again until I emailed Michelle and asked if we were just closing this loan and if I should remove them as my second lien holder. All her response said was “yes” Now I’m typically not one to leave bad reviews, and I completely understand things happen that are out of our control, but the communication was absolutely horrendous, and I’m not quite sure they full even knew what they were doing. I shouldn’t have to chase you down to get some type of response. Would never use again, save yourself the headache and stick to your bank or credit union.

UPDATE:
Customer service responded to my review and ask that I send them all the file information, which I did. I followed up with them twice after sending it in and on par with their communication skills they simply said "we are looking into it". The rep even gave me a day as to when we would have an update. Two days after that update was due I again, reached out, and they said they responded to my google review, which they did, but with no information other than send us your file info.
As I said below, it is my ethical responsibility as a realtor to make sure my future clients do not have to endure what my former clients endured from SPRING EQ.
Just this morning I had a meeting with a new buyer looking to use a HELOC to buy a new home and before referring her to a lender I called that lender to make sure they have no working relationship with Spring. This company is a joke.
As a real estate agent in Arizona, I will make it part of my ethical responsibility that non of my clients do business with this company. Due to an error on SPRINGS end we were over 2 weeks late on closing on my clients new home. When this error was found we were told by one of their VPs that our file would be top priority, yet the underwriter said “I’ll do my best to get to it today”….. that’s not the same language. They refuse to acknowledge their mistakes and make it right, or even apologize to my clients. The communication would be better if my dog knew how to make a phone call or write a email with simple file updates.

I cannot express my deep disappointment and frustration with the level of service we received from Spring. The company committed many mistakes while processing our HELOC, and it caused us to have to extend the closing for over a week. Our experience has been marred by a series of delays and mistakes on their end. The initial processing of our loan application took significantly longer than promised. Spring made multiple errors throughout the entire process. This delay caused undue stress and inconvenience for us. Throughout this process, we often found it difficult to get in touch with a customer service representative who could provide any of us with accurate and timely information regarding the status of our application. The lack of communication exacerbated my concerns and left me feeling neglected. To make matters worse, there were multiple errors on their part as an organization. Spring tried to take out a HELOC on the property that we were trying to purchase. We were timely and responsive when Spring requested documents from us. These mistakes were time-consuming to rectify and raised doubts about the competence and attention to detail within the organization. Even after correcting the errors in my documents, there were additional unexplained delays in the final approval and disbursement of the loan. We were left in the dark about the reasons for these delays, which added to our growing frustration. I understand that mistakes can happen in any business, but the cumulative impact of these delays and errors has been deeply disappointing and has eroded my trust in Spring.
Update-Spring says to contact them directly in their reply. We had been in contact with them and they ignored us again and again. They basically ghosted us. Just received something in the mail notifying us they transferred the loan to another servicing company. Spring is by far one of the worst companies that I have ever interacted with. My suggestion is that if anyone recommends them-run so that you do not suffer the same gross malfeasance that I have. It's incredibly disappointing to experience such a lack of professionalism and straight out incompetence from a mortgage company.
