Reliance Bank, State College, PA

No one ever answers the phones. I was lucky and got through once this morning on my third attempt. I dic receive their voice-mail back, but have been unable to reschedule them for the past hour.

This is actually the worst bank that I've ever had. They're THAT bank, don't be THAT person. Go to a nicer place, it will be worth it.

Horrible with mortgage loans. Originally went there because we were told they won't sell the loan to another bank, but their lack of response and knowledge is astouning. Trying to email them would take approximately two days to receive a response and there were minor mistakes made when calculating a payment for a potential house. Originally they seemed to know what they were doing but the further we got invested into looking into a property the more mistakes that were made and the more frustrated I became. When the issues were brought up in an email in a firm but civil manner I never got a response! They completely ignored me and this was the manager I was speaking to! I will never recommend anyone go to reliance especially for a mortgage!

Horrible! Over a week to get a response about a land loan, which ended In the land being sold to another couple... (Happened before too.)I called numerous times and got no response back. Also an email was sent back as one of my “responses” back after about 5days but the email wasn’t even to me it was to my mother in law whom has an account there. I do not! (hmm HIPPA violation I’ll be checking into that) If I would have received a phone call back after my numerous attempts to get answers. The land would not have went to someone else! Really beyond irritating! How hard is it to call back and give someone an update on what is going on??

They were the only ones that would give us a land loan about 5 years ago, overbanged we will already a part of. We have since paid it off. Getting ready to build now, and we'll probably be back. Thank you.
