We wanted to refi our auto loan. Paula not only assisted us with that but also recommended refi of another loan. She helped save us$350 a month and took hours of her day assisting us, with a smile. She was fantastic and offered a great experience

I stopped by the bank again and spoke to Paula. Because of Paula I changed my review form 1 star to 5 star. She is so amazing, knowledgeable, courteous, polite hard working and honest. I will highly recommend her for your banking needs!!!
I stopped by the bank with the intention of opening at least two accounts I was told I had to open the accounts online and schedule an appointment which I did. Then I had to call to reschedule my appointment since I was sick. Someone took a message but they never returned my call. Poor customer service skills.

I'm told by a separate provider mortgage lender your pre approved for 120k FHA home loan at 900+$ a month.
But that I have a thin report and recommends getting a credit card. See online credit unions and your own bank are the best chance of approval.
The bank associate was nice and personable. It felt like a smooth process. I have a clear history, no debt or collections other than 1 medical bill. And a credit rating of B.
I have a good income and thought for sure that after holding a secured card for almost 2 years at 0$ balance I would be approved. I wasn't approved and told because I don't have enough credit I should get another secured card for a higher limit.
I feel with a zero balance and having no debt and good income I would qualify. So now I've hurt my scores with another inquiry and the results are not positive and created less opportunity.
On Monday I'm going to close my account and take my money to someone else. I'm disappointed that while taking the first step to create credit I've done what I was told and still then told repeat step one while someone else saying approved. I'm not valued and someone else can make money of my business.

Slow, poor hours and really confusing online service. Also just flat out sent my check book to the wrong location. Partially my fault as I do move frequently with my employment but the system for changing your information could be much more intuitive and faster.

Horrible bank. With horrible customer service. They called me and asked why I was unsatisfied. I said 5 specific and unique reasons why People First is a horrible bank. Then they got mad that I was being truthful and was aggressive and rude when they asked for feedback. Don’t ask for feedback if you don’t want your own mess shown to your face.

2 and a half stars in a generous rating. Save your time and go elsewhere. They have tons of issues and noone seems to know how to solve them. 5 weeks now act wont allow me to pay bills. Im beyond pissed and keep getting your act is fine. Believe me I took every step humanly possible to make sure it wasn't my end.

I have been banking with People First FCU for 5 years straight now. From starting with a a joint account to moving to a solo account I've never had any sorts of suspicious acts or fraud. However, out of the blue, I deposited a check from my employer via the mobile app. The money was accepted and approved and I made purchases with the check.
However to my dismay, they flagged it as suspicious and voided the funds. It pulled from my savings and screwed over my account. The over the phone was of no assistance and spoke to me like I was 12, and when I went in to speak in person. I was told there was nothing they could do. That the multi-billion corp I work for isn't gonna pay the check I deposited.
I wasn't notified of it being flagged as suspicious till I walked in to the bank.
I'm not valued as a member, and I will be taking my service elsewhere.
Edit : I have just received the letter that the check was flagged as fraudulent. The reason is "Reasonable Cause to Doubt Collectability". This letter was sent out the 13th of November, my check was deposited and funds were approved on the 10th of November. They text me, email me, and have my phone number but they decided to send it via snail mail.

I have never had a positive experience at this bank. The staff is not helpful and uninterested. Getting anyone on the phone is nearly impossible. They hold my funds hostage for days, even when I deposit in person. I’m so glad I chose not to do my business banking with them, and will be closing all of my personal accounts immediately.
