First Federal Savings & Loan, Waynesburg, PA

I got scammed by an outside company. Bought the check to them without knowing I was getting scammed. Withdrew some money a week later. The company canceled the check 10 days after I deposited according to First Federal. I paid First Federal back, although it took me some time cause I was hurt much more by the scam than they were and was treated horribly by First Federal since then. They wouldn’t turn my debit card back on even after I tried getting my paychecks direct deposited and basically forced me out of the bank cause I was scammed, I never wrote a bad check or had a problem like that since then which was at least 2 years ago. The check I deposited was not a stolen check from Grandma’s purse it was from a legit bank and everything was typed out not handwritten. Had I not moved to Waynesburg I would have never banked there. I recommend you don’t either.

My dad opened an account for me in this bank in the 60s. It is the only bank in the county that is still in business, and the only one I will ever use.
