Heritage Valley Federal Credit Union, York, PA

Been banking with them for 16 years. Don’t have to worry about fees and other charges. They care you and their service is great to me and my family.

Business banking, ACH payments, wait time for a wire to clear…Very Problematic. Super Inefficient. Could be better.

Very very disappointed in this institution. Have used them for YEARS, have recommended friends and family to use them and they ALL have, and they have made a lot of money off of mine and their interest. I have never ever been late on any payments of any kind with them or any other creditor. Recently requested an increase on my current Visa with Heritage and I was "denied" because they felt my debt to income was too great and I "might" not pay them if something were to happen to me even though I always get the protection plans on every loan or credit card....so...I plan on paying off my debt to them as soon as possible, leaving them and I can promise I will encourage all family and friends to do the same nor will I EVER again recommend this Credit Union. I realize this will not bother them due to the fact I am a small fish and they could really care less about my opinion of them as long as they can make as much money as possible on any one else but at least I warned you all.

I have CK SV CC Personal loan and car loan. But sill they don’t prioritize your business.

Heritage Valley FCU has become a terrible bank to deal with and that is sad because we will no longer be dealing with them after banking there for more than 20 years! The current management has made it very clear they could care less about their customers! We had over $1000 in deposits going in at the same time as quite a lot of debit transactions... well they take out all of the debits first leaving us with an absurd amount of NSF fees and only after sending our account balance far into the negative do they apply the $1000 in deposits. It's THIEVERY! Not only that but they would do absolutely nothing to credit back any of the $300+ in NSF fees that they stole from us. Then there's the long holds on deposited checks done intentionally just to screw us up even further kicking us when we were down... and everytime I call i get a different answer: "next business day by 4:00" / " oh no that's wrong not until tomorrow" / tomorrow came and went and then they tell me "it says wont be released until 9/8... we are literally still waiting at the time of this writing for a $800 personal check to post to our account that was deposited 5 days ago! WHO MAKES THEIR CUSTOMERS WAIT 5 DAYS FOR A CHECK TO CLEAR BEFORE MAKING IT AVAILABLE IN THEIR BALANCE??? CROOKS! Bank with Heritage Valley at your own risk! I'll be leaving this horrible bank as soon as I'm able to make other banking arrangements!

I love heritage valley FCU they treat you like family. Tonia is always so kind and helpful and patient. And the marketing for the credit union is the best I’ve seen very creative and well done .
