Northwest Bank, Youngsville, PA

Great bank

I have been a customer of Northwest bank for approximately 18 years, starting when I opened up my first savings account as a child. As of recently, my experience with Northwest Bank has been so negative and frustrating that I have decided to withdraw my funds and close my accounts. The customer service at the Youngsville branch is positive and friendly. However, throughout an ongoing situation, I have been given the run around for three months, given false information on several separate occasions, and ultimately told I would need to contact an attorney in order to access my money in an account that is in my name. During this process, money was removed from my savings account without any type of notification; I did not receive a phone call or email. I was unaware that a significant amount of money was taken out of my savings account until the next time I checked my account balances. I am a happy customer of PNC Bank and would highly recommend them over Northwest to anyone. If there is not a convenient PNC location for you, I would suggest any local credit union or regional bank in order to avoid the hassle that Northwest tends to give their customers. I can assure you that I am not alone in my grievances with this institution.
