This company sucks, esoecially this location. First when I needed $500 added on to an existing loan, I called their office and was told that this would be no problem. I clearly stated " I need $500." and I was told that they could put the money into my account. So, since I didn't have a bad experience with them so far, I gave them my bank account and routing number. After 2 days no money and I called them back and talked with the same girl. She said:" Just wait, it might have gone into the wrong account and needs to be returned." Another two days went by, I checked my account and noticed that someone tried to take out twice $500 and I got fined. I called Republic Finance and had another staff member on the line who explained to me that I was trying to have $500 taken out and that they tried two times and it was declined. Based on those "two returns" which I never authorized (words like need and take/pay sound very differently) I cannot make my payments on the internet, instead I have to come in and these people close at 5:30 pm ( I belong to the working population who is commuting to West Columbia/Lexington - so traffic is another barrier) and they are closed on the weekend. Today, FridayI tried to obtain the payoff, so I calledand was informed that it is 5:30 pm, they are closed on the weekend and extra money will be added on 10/14/2018 ( a Sunday) and so I will pay $50 more than on Friday to pay off this loan since I cannot pay on the website because their untrained useless staff caused me to have two returns due to their lack of listening and comprension skills.

If I could give a 0 star rating i would! I have received multiple calls from this establishment because someone put me down as a reference and i have repeatedly told this company to stop calling me and to take me off the reference list! I still get calls non-stop. Quit harassing people, if they don't answer the first time you call they obviously don't need anymore money, so then you call their reference list and harass them!! STOP!

At least other loan companies will try to work with you when you have personal issues come up they don't.

Shady company they give you a payment book you make last payment one month later you get a letter saying you still owe them and obscure amount, and your going to be charged a late fee and interest but can not tell you why you had this amount left. Oh you probably was late with a payment. No I was not. Complete BS STAY AWAY.

They loaned me money, they are alright!
