If your looking for a bank that will be there and work with you during ONLY the good times, this is your bank. If you are looking for a bank that will be there and work with you during the good and bad times, I would NOT recommend Pickens Savings & Loan. They treated my husband and I poorly when we hit a rough spot in our farming business. I will most definitely be speaking out about our experience with this bank to others in efforts that our family, friends and customers do not ever have to go through what we did.

We financed our first house purchase through PS&L, and they made it an extremely smooth and easy experience for us. The staff is courteous, friendly, and professional. It was especially nice being able to deal with a local business instead of a large out-of-town bank. Would certainly recommend.

Pickens Savings & Loan is one of the few places around that still offer good old-fashioned customer service! Tellers learn your name and make sure to take care of you every time you visit, whether to just deposit a check or to apply for a loan.

I've banked with Pickens Savings & Loan for over 15yrs. I have NEVER had a problem with this bank. They've been there for me through car loans, bank loans, IRA's...you name it. Because they are not a state or nationwide bank, they don't have an ATM....HOWEVER, I am able to use my debit card ANYWHERE and the bank reimburses any ATM associated fees, which is a huge advantage. They have an online banking system that is easy to use and most all transactions can be accomplished on it. I've moved a county away over the years, but I'm not leaving my bank. Always professional and personal, it doesn't get better than Pickens Savings & Loan.

Good service. I wish there was more options for construction loans. But for being a small bank in a small town, it is everything you would hope for.
