Do not go here if you are looking to start your credit and get straight up help. I applied for a loan and they had me add collision ins to my car get all paperwork say i was approved, then told me to get a co signer, I did that and then they said no because it wasn't a blood relative. So her credit was run for no reason. They are not straight to the point. And polices they have after they run you and apprive you!

If you want these stooges to report twice as much debt than you actually owe to your credit bureaus, go with Onemain. I have a loan for less than $7k and they report to my credit bureaus that I have over $15k of debt with them. That's gotta sting the credit score. They report to the bureaus all the money I will have paid if I make nothing but minimum payments. It makes no sense and there is no reason to do it. They have absolutely nothing to gain for doing it. The rep at my branch admitted that other customers have complained about this. If it's so controversial, STOP. Hopefully the more they get exposed for this tactic and the more pressure we put on them via social media, consumer agencies and credit bureaus, the sooner they quit. And I know for a fact they don't have to do it. I had a landlord try the same thing - report all the money their tenants will have paid through the length of the lease agreement - and they quickly quit when the tenants put up a stink. On the flip, their lending standards are a bit looser than credit unions and banks. But you will pay for the generosity in higher interest rates, in the 30% range per the posting on the wall in my local branch.

I just want one main too know and the public! Ive never been more satisfied with a loan place! The customer service they give you and the time they spend explaining the details! That is the first I've left excited about a loan!! Thank you all from the Seneca office!

The customer service here is great, everyone seems friendly and understanding Yes the interest rates are a bit higher But as long as you make your monthly payments, you will be fine, and even if your in a bind that month and can’t make the full payment, they will listen to what you have going on and offer to help anyway they can, If you respect them, they respect you
