Aberdeen Federal Credit Union, Aberdeen, SD

As long as you never have to physically get to their ATM, or go outside the Aberdeen area with a bank card or use another bank's ATM it's a fine credit union.

They will not answer calls and the drive through machine barely works. Do not go to this bank.

I try to deposed some coins to the bank. the coin machine is down. I counted $20 with quarters and Dollars and asked cashier to depose them. The cashier didn't take them and tell me that I have to go through the coin machine. My understanding is that if machine is working, we could follow the policy. If machine is not working, banker should have some alternate method to solve the problems. Bad experience.

Customer service is so bad , Set up my bank 3 weeks ago and still hasn’t receive it yet. Called them so many times and it kept telling me they are in another calls try it every day for 1 week straight and never got the chance to talk to the person that set my account up.

8.9% on house moved it to another bank for 7.2% paid only 58 thousand for house, house worth 147 thousand got an extra 16 grand cash for 620 a month. This bank don't work with u therefore left!!!!! Thank u to our new bank!

Thank you Brandy. What a great one to work with. I am 81 and she has to be the most patient person. She help me soooooo much Took her time. I did not feel rushed or stupid because I am not good at this. Never did she make me feel nervous or Stupid Thank you again Brandy.

I don’t do this often but I’m surprised by the terrible customer service at this credit union. I became a member in May and I’m already working on leaving their credit union. Absolutely, wildly rude customer service. Also, complete trash online banking. Transactions appear, disappear, reappear constantly. Complained, and was told to keep a physical check register (in 2023). I’ve had better service with Wells Fargo, y’all should be ashamed.
