CorTrust Bank, Aberdeen, SD

I can see why your bank has such a low rating, if the incredibly rude and horrid man my husband & I just dealt with at your branch in Aberdeen, South Dakota is anything to go on!! I wish I'd gotten his name, for he needs a lesson in customer service and manners and just plain human decency & consideration! I worked in retail and with the general public for over thirty years and I have NEVER known a customer service rep, banker, or business man or woman who would EVER treat anyone including a possible new customer that way!! Anyone who did would have been fired! Instead of simply asking or telling us to please park our RV in the street instead of your parking lot, he lit into my husband (vocally) as if we’d committed a hideous crime and were something slimy beneath his feet. He didn’t even ask us if we were customers or planning on doing business with his bank.

The worst experience of all banks in America, and one of the lousy bank branches in South Dakota. Not only do I not recommend this bank to friends and family but WARN them also about this bank. For any new comers and those fishing around PLEASE BE CAREFUL ABOUT THIS PLACE!!! To explain myself as short as possible, a long time ago my grandmother got myself and her other grandchildren CD's, and at first back in 2015 I attempted to cash it in a year prior before the maturity date and during that processes they booted me out of the building on the grounds that I need a death certificate to cash in the CD. THAT WAS NOT TRUE!!! AND A LIE!!!

Greedy bank, they will overdraft you on fraudulent charges or identity theft. They don't care if you were a victim they will take your money all the same. The VP manipulates you into paying the most fees you can afford. All the employees will tell different rules about your account so its impossible to know what action to take. They do all this just to squeeze the most money from you. VP even admitted he cannot help without first your money to go to his boss with.
