ZuntaFi, Aberdeen, SD

I didn't want to have a thing to do with this company, in fact I had never heard of them, but apparently a student loan servicer I had been paying on autopay for more than decade transferred one of my loans to them without asking me or telling me. ZuntaFi waited until my first payment was past due to reach out to me and tell my it had changed hands, then they bill me a late fee! I had nothing to do with this change and I'm the one paying for their incompetence! Something about this has to be illegal.

I have no debts whatsoever and I want this company to never call me again reading off a list of people that I might know. That is stalking. I would guess that they use an internet white pages to arbitrarily call random numbers of people who seem to be similar in name. If you call me again I will report your telephone number as well as your business. Thanks. EDIT: Zuntafi absolutely did contact me and read off a list of people who have the same last name as me in their attempt to collect a debt what appears to be one of the debtors. I have since reported them to the FTC.

Avoid. They do not do settlements. On top of that, when I tried - they took the information if I provided and called my employer. Liars and shady. Dishonest. I paid my loan off, and it shows my account still has a payment due in 2030 along with an outstanding balance. Go somewhere else.

Zuntafi seems to be performing robbery. I have a private student loan that has defaulted due to financial hardship through the pandemic. I called to try and negotiate a settlement and they said I owe $2000 more than what's written on my statement amount "they mailed me". I asked them why is the statement amount different than what I'm being told and they're excuse is "I don't know, but people should add what's on the statement for the full balance." That's what statements are for, to show everything. They are scammers, and unfortunately I will have to weigh other options outside of Zuntafi as I do not trust them to help me seek options. If you are considering a student loan or any other loans, please steer away from Zuntafi.

We’ve never heard of this company and get a random bill in the mail for collections on a debt. What debt? My husband never had a loan through them and doesn’t even have student debt totaling the “collections” letter he got. Our lawyer is looking into it but seems a bit shady to me!

RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!! This is a horrible lender or as another reviewer called them “Legal Loan Shark”. There is a reason it’s listed as a 1 star with many reviews. They make it impossible to pay off a loan, this place is definitely a SCAM. Started the process to getting a student loan for 30k an in then end I would be paying 70k. I’m glad that I cancelled my loan and did not proceed with this company. I feel sorry for the other reviewers who are now unable to make their ridiculous payments to this place. (Note: My credit is excellent).

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! I used them for my student loan and its impossible to pay it off. I started with 88K in debt. I haven't made a single late payment and the last 6 months I've been making 1k additional principal payment. My total balance is still the SAME!!!! This company is a complete SCAM!!!!
