I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life. Their staff consists of older woman who clearly have their nose in the air. I am a full time factory worker, mother, and wife. They didn't cash cashier checks that came from their own bank! They just didn't because I am a mother who's appearance wasn't as clean cut as theirs. Probably didn't help I had tattoos.

Policy: A five dollar service charge will be applied to each check cashed that is written from and at this bank they charge money to cash their own checks what a horrible establishment.

BDo not become a member of this credit union. Extremely poor customer service extra charges They won't even let me close my account when I wanted to and kept charging me money. At one point I was depositing my change I had saved up like how people do and the teller told me to go to another bank and have them cash it and then I could deposit it she wouldn't accept my change cuz she didn't want to count it. At another time the teller at the window started asking me all kinds of personal questions right in the drive-thru window where other people could hear my private information. I thought I could speak to somebody about that and how that situation made me uncomfortable. They told me that I should have came inside but how was I to know that the teller was going to start asking me personal information in the drive up window. I had spoke with one woman in their credit department and she kept telling me one thing but the women inside would tell me another, so you can't get a straight answer and then they want to argue about it. It's no wonder everybody is changing banks.

I often get paid Friday evenings or early Sat morning, being closed on Saturday has put me in a bad spot several times. It's literally the only time I had to get there in person. Been banking there since 07 and recently had to start showing id to cash checks cause they go through tellers so often, a 16yr customer is now a stranger.

Great people and easy to become a member of the credit union. I particularly recommend this place for car loans, RV loans, and home loans. They're usually deals that are below prime mortgage rate offered by East River
