First Bank & Trust, Milbank, Milbank, SD

I used to live in Minneapolis and bank at the big banks. First Bank & Trust, Milbank is by far better on several levels. First - personal fast service. Secondly - Their banking app stands FAR above anyone elses. Third - mobile deposits ... I know other places have this also but check out the app and you will see what I mean. the platform is phenomenal! Thanks.

I had a merchant charge my debit card and NOT ship the merchandise. The branch manager took the report, took my card, and the bank said that because I had authorized the merchant to use my card, they would not dispute the transaction with the bank. They do NOT honor the Visa Zero Liability policy. Don't use this bank. They do NOT have 24/7 customer service, their online systems are beyond primative (no transactional alerts whenever your card is used, no deposit alerts), bill pay does not send guaranteed funds to the merchant.

The bank is fine, but for how much they flaunt their programs for students, there is never any time for me to go here to actually make deposits. They open at 8, I am already at school by then, and they close at 5:30, which is when most practices end.

Very professional and knowledgeable staff. They are friendly and helpful. We are happy that we made this our bank when we moved here.

My previous bank of 12 years turned me down for a home loan, Natalie and Val at first bank was over the top with their help. Highly recommended!!
