I applied for emergency assistance for fuel oil during January. Even though I had next yo no income for 3 months due to a mandatory govt. furlough I was forced to take. I was denied assistance. I understand why and that's not why I gave the negative review. I was never contacted about it and I have been without heat in my house for 5 days with the temps below zero, waiting and hoping to hear back from Grow SD. Basically they left me hanging and never contacted me after assuring me in person it would work out. Now all my pipes are busted and I not only have no heat but not working water at my house due to their lack of communication. I'm sure I'm not the only person this has happened to Very unimpressed with their "help".

Had a great tour while in town. They do great work for their community!

An utterly disappointing experience. The GROW representative told a blind woman to go to their website in order to fill out paperwork. Dismissive and demeaning. This office can hardly be considered an aid or advocacy organization.
