First Interstate Bank, Yankton, SD

I used to love banking with great western and never have had problems! Since the conversion to First Interstate I have had nothing but issues. I can’t use the atm at all not even to check my balance. All my subscriptions are cancelled because they can’t pull from my account. My card is being declined and I can’t access my online account. I have been with this bank since I started banking and am disappointed to say I may have to look for a bank elsewhere.

The Norfolk branch is very challenging each time I go there is some one new there! That frustrates Me totally!

NEVER get a loan with this bank. They will add charges to your loan and think you’re not going to notice. I have fought with them for months! And I never missed a payment or was late. They miscommunicated with my insurance company and decided to just get their own insurance on my vehicle and add it right onto the loan without ever conferring with me. I have now been on hold for over an hour and keep getting pushed back on the list. It will tell me I’m the next caller then 5 min later it says I’m caller number 2. Now it’s saying I’m back to caller number 4.

After switching to First Interstate, nothing but problems. Charges on my accounts due to increased minimums I wasn't aware of. My card didn't work half the time. Seemed like I had to change my password every time I logged into the app. Do not waste your time with this bank. You shouldn't have to pay to have an account at a bank.
