Service Loan and Tax, Cleveland, TN

Crooks. Plain and simple. My wife paid a loan off with the them a decade ago and they are still trying to rob us through the courts. We lost all documentation of the payoff due to hurricane flooding in Florida ages ago and have no way to dispute it. They are asking 5 times the original amount due to fees and interest. Stay far away from these people.

Very unprofessional business! I have had a loan with this company when they were in my town (Dayton, TN) for over 2 years and have never had a problem until they closed their doors here and moved to Cleveland. Since they moved I have been lied to twice. First I was told that since they moved to Cleveland, TN I could make my payments over the phone so I would not have to drive 40 minutes away to make a payment and they told me there would not be any fees associated with that. Apparently that was a lie. Then I was reminded that they have a 7 day grace period, which I have never been late until this month (October 2021) but I was only 6 days late due to family issues. So when I called to make a payment over the phone I was not only hit with a CONVENIENCE FEE OF $2.25 but also a LATE FEE OF $15.00. When I asked why I am being charged a late fee they said that it was due 6 days ago and I politely told them that I was told that I have a 7 day grace period. The lady, Miranda, told me that they do not have a grace period. But then said that they allow 5 days. So they contradict themselves on the issue of grace periods. This place is very unprofessional, full of liars, and will tell you whatever they can to get you to secure a loan there. If you are needing a loan then I would recommend CITIZENS SAVINGS AND LOAN in Dayton, TN. I have had a loan with them for over 4 years, refinancing, paying off and getting new, etc. And have NEVER.. AND I MEAN NEVER.. HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM WHATSOEVER. Please, speak with Beverly Hall and ask for a loan, you will be on better hands at Citizens than you would be at Service Loans. Do not make the same mistake that I made. And if I could give this place a ZERO STAR review I would... so unfortunately they are getting a star that they do not deserve. Poor customer service, poor professionalism, and uncaring people.

I'm 60 years old and disabled, and ran into a situation unable to pay some of my Bill's. I contacted Service Loan and these folks treated me like somebody. Treated me better than family. In times of illness and destitute, their employees stepped up to the plate. When their company first came to the area my son was hired by them to be a runner. I am today going to pay them off, but almost regret doing it. I will never forget how they took care of me in times of need. DMH

Ask for Brittany she is wonderful. She got me the money I needed fast..... will recommen her and the company for small loans!!!

I have been in construction all of my life as worker then an owner of a corporation. I have dealt with many loan company's bank etc., and in my opinion Service Loan is the easiest and most friendly company I have dealt with. They are kind and courteous and understand your needs and try to work with you the best they can. I have been doing business with them for several years and I intend to keep doing business with them. Great Staff very kind and friendly and ready to assist in your needs. EXCELLENT RATING!!!!!!!!!!!

My experience at Service Loan and Tax has been great and they have been very helpful. I will definitely come back again if I need to. Everyone has been so nice.
