OneMain Financial, Kingsport, TN

I have been with One Main for about 5 yrs. They call you and ask if you need anything you tell them not at this time, but when you need their help it is not available. I asked to defer one payment and they wanted to make a payment before they could defer the payment what sense does that make.

I have been waiting a month for them to pay money on one of my credit cards and still no payment as of today. I paid the loan off today, the interest rate was astronomical, and was told they would check about my payment before end of day today and Ive heard nothing! Would not recommend to anyone.

Was contacted by this company in December and was told that since I had been paying on my loan that I qualified for a additional amount. I told them I may hold off a bit then do the loan. Went to them in the next month and applied for a small loan which was the same amount they said I could get anyway. This time they had me jumping through hoops for the small amount. The last time they used what was on file for me, this time I literally had to give them the same exact info all over again. They told me they do this every time and that was a out right lie. They then wanted to use 1 of my vehicles for collateral. The vehicle I was using was worth 3 times the amount I wanted and was free and clear. They immediately took the title and listed them as loss payee on my insurance. The next day they told me that my net pay was $500 off, I told them I could prove it with no problem but because this lady was rude and talked down to me I told them to forget it and give my title back and get off my insurance. What I then did was to be able to get a loan for double the amount without using one of my cars for collateral at a lower interest rate. I feel this idiot should be fired but then again she made me look elsewhere which I win. Watch out for these bait and switch people and go any where else you can then here.

The first time I called them the experience was amazing. Now I am in need of another loan and got the collateral they ask for and have yet to be called back from an approval over a week ago. I just wanna pay them off and never go back because the give you the run arounds too much. I however got approved at a different place and the payments are actually lower.

Walked in without giving any notice and was treated great! Will definitely go to them again with any loans that our family may need. They were fantastic and very friendly to work with and got what we needed done quickly

One of the easiest loan transactions I have every done. The staff was very friendly and were able to answer all my questions. Very pleased!
