I love the very individualized special treatment they give all their customers. You walk in and they know your name! This bank makes you feel like family. This is how banks used to be and this one has not changed. I highly recommend SouthStar , I love banking with them.

SouthStar Bank is the best Bank I've been with throughout my years. They've consistently given me amazing service over the phone and in person. If you're looking for a local bank or a bank in general to go with, I'd heavily recommend checking them out.

Working with Kimberly and her team was a great experience. They are very professional and courteous. We had a short timeline to secure a loan and they beat the timeline by being extremely efficient throughout the loan process. I definitely would work with them again.

South Star is a prime example of why it's a good idea to bank locally. Everyone there is friendly, helpful and very good at their job. You will not regret banking with them.

Edit: I tried these folks out again after a manager called me and they have been very nice and helpful. They kick back my mobile deposits way too often (no issue with other banks), but other than that the staff is great and always remembers me. We now have our operating account with them, and I have a personal savings account with them as well. Waste of time; killed my whole lunch break here to find out they can’t take a personal check to open account without holding the funds for 7 days. It’s a shame because they’re close to my office, but now I’m not going to get to eat.

The customer service is outstanding. I had failed to notice that my payment did not go through for our rental home (I simply transfer money from the app from our southstar checking account to the mortgage I have with southstar each month) and I received a very personal and friendly email about it from Trent. Thankfully they sent the email or I may not have noticed for a while!! We figure out why it was stopped and remedied the situation immediately! May move all my accounts here due to their customer service! And they are super friendly when I go in as well!
