This review is for colonial savings as a mortgage lender not this branch we had just refinanced our cars through our credit Union who uses colonial savings for their mortgage. They told us it would not affect our mortgage refinance. We found out different as we started the process. We tried to explain to several people that the cars were paid off with the original lenders but they were still showing on the credit report however they did not understand that. So they're interest rates were pretty high. higher than our original mortgage but they were very quick to send all of our documents to be signed for the loan as we were still trying to understand what our different options were. All this to say we went with quicken loans and very happy with our experience with them and the interest rate offered was almost a whole point lower than what colonial savings offered Because they took the time to explore all of the different options and tell us what we what we had available to us.
