Peoples State Bank, Livingston, TX

I have had great luck with the Coldspring bank BUT the livingston bank is the WORST bank I have ever banked at. If you deposit money in your account on a friday they won't put it in your account until the same time Monday morning. The first time this happened I called and they told me that I have to deposit it before 2pm so this time I deposited it at 9:30 and still no money has hit my account. I will be changing to first national bank of livingston

I use the Livingston branch for business and personal accounts. To be honest they were 3rd on my list when I researched banks before moving our business here, but after lukewarm greetings at the first 2, I am glad we chose Peoples now. They are always friendly, efficient and take time to answer questions. My only minor complaint is that the fraud alerts tend to prevent some purchases when over the road. When that happens, a simple trip to the ATM fixes the problem.

Don't give open hrs on web site !!

Super sweet folks. However, their systems are not going to be helpful for you. I specifically and clearly asked if the account would allow me to obtain copies of checks front and back... this has been a problem and only works part fo the time. today i find out there are different types of accounts and maybe the one they gave me does not have the option to view checks cleared! This is for a legal case. I was upfront and very specific about the use of the account and the REQUIREMENTS. I would have gone down the road had I been able to foresee the problems. Costs me extra in time and money to do business here. unfortunately i cannot change in the middle of the case. This now requires requesting everything over the phone be emailed in pieces. Can't even edit the descriptions .... software platform is horrible. The folks who work here are super nice though
