The woman Jackie could of easily emailed me and told me I was not approved instead of just sitting there waiting one whole day.

BUNCH OF SCAM ARTISTS! Don’t prequalify someone put an inquiry on their credit but then turn around and not approve them. You could have went down on the amount or something! You didn’t even tell me beforehand that there were risks and other qualifications to get approved. So CRAZY!!
I worked with some lady there who could care less. She tried to force me to add my husband but I wasn’t about to have them put an inquiry on his credit too.

I just walked out of One Main Financial sick to my stomach. The company values say "We commit to deliver an outstanding customer experience" and "To work with you in times of hardship."
I accompanied a friend who needed a loan. We had to leave work in the busiest part of the day because it worked better for One Main yet we waited 2.5 hours to complete service. When we asked if there was a restroom we were told "No," and to "Try Popeyes down the road."
During signing the agent offered my friend an option to have her $5000 loan paid off in the event of an emergency for the small cost of $3300.
I watched in horror as the agent rushed over this part of the paperwork. As my friend was about to sign I said "Wait! Do you know what you are paying for? Do you want to pay $3300 extra dollars when you came through the door for a $5000 loan?" She was completely clueless the extra charges would be rolled into her loan with a click of the button. I felt like I was surrounded by Vampires masquerading as disciples here to help and serve.
The lack of transparency and kindness to people in troubled times hurt my soul.
If you can find any other way, I suggest never stepping foot in this place.

Our customer service representative was Erica Wade, who was quite extraordinary. She was very thorough, knowledgeable, easy to contact and prompt with her responses to both me and my husband. I believe Erica is well qualified and quite capable to handle any customer's need. Thank you for the opportunity to be served by OneMain Financial.

I would not recommend doing business with this location. I will not say business because it can vary on location due to personnel. Bad communication and false set of expectation. I work in the financial world and set expectation clearly to client, especially if short staffed. I have been told 3 different times that I would receive a call within the day to go over loans. The last call she acted like I did not send my financial information and wanted me to send again. I stated I had already uploaded all the necessary documents... So I thought to myself, what happened to the first time I submitted information? Then she said oh I see it now let me review it and I will call you today. (That was yesterday) So I am done with them. Blessing in disguise not doing business with them since communication is poor.
