My real estate agent recommended I contact Sundeep when my offer was accepted, and it turned out to be a great recommendation. I did my due diligence getting rate from multiple providers, and Sundeep was among the best rates. However, there are so many other things that are important when finding a good mortgage broker. There were many instances throughout the process where Sundeep went above and beyond: 1. He worked with me closely and efficiently when submitting the initial application to gather the necessary paperwork. Any time I submitted something to him, he was very quick to turn it around. I was never waiting on him, he was always waiting on me. 2. He made sure to confirm with me before locking in a rate and communicated progress along the way, so we were never out of sync during the process 3. He was able to get discounts I didn't expect, such as being able to get the appraisal fee waived. 4. After working with Sundeep for a very short amount of time, I could tell he is the type of guy that goes out of his way to do the right thing. There were several instances during the process where Sundeep was trying to help me with things that were completely outside of his responsibilities. For instance, he gave me advice and recommendations on insurance that were helpful and appreciated. With his guidance, I will likely save a few thousand dollars. 5. Very late in the process, I asked if we would be able to lock in a new rate since rates had dropped quickly. Rather than just saying "No" like most loan officers would do, he listed out the pros and cons of doing so. It would have been extremely painful for him if I had chosen to re-do everything in order to get a new rate, but he was willing to do it if that's what I chose to do. This is the type of thing that separates the "good" from the "great". Sundeep was willing to go the extra mile, even though it would have been detrimental for him. 6. Right before closing, we ended up having some complications with the title company around taxes. Sundeep stayed involved in the process and worked to get things resolved, even though the problem ultimately was with the title company. I have a short list of service providers that I trust, and Sundeep is definitely now a part of that list. I appreciate him for everything he's done for me so far, and I'm looking forward to working with him again in the future. Thank you, Sundeep!
