Had to file a restraining order against this man. And I'm not behind on payments! Constantly calls and he requests favors. And when I was unable he threatened to call in the loan and ask for full payment up front. Calls via a private number and leaves some pretty outrages messages. Very unprofessional. I should have known better when I walked in and he was trying to conduct business barefooted and in non business like clothes. I even had to contact the state and issue a complaint! Good thing I saved his voicemail and text messages. Hope he goes out of business.

I googled for a lender near us looking for some late summer vacation cash. Found Five Star's apply online website. I completed the application and called for an appointment. Daniel could get me in the same day and I got $500 for long Labor Day weekend. I just got the loan, so haven't made any payments yet. I do like that they are monthly, rather than weekly payments and I can pay over the phone with my debit card rather than running back to the office on 410.

Terribly unprofessional...more like a loan shark. Constantly harasses for payments. Even makes threats to sue, default, ruin credit, visit job to ask why you are late with a payment. A mere two hundred was borrowed in an attempt to establish a better credit rating. The outcome was exactly the opposite with Mr Degroff. What kind of person slanders and takes on the employer of the person who was responsible for the loan? A persistent barrage of verbal threats on a small loan makes me wonder what he does to collect on a big loan. I usually believe in Karma, but just in case I wanted to share. Too many other places to get loans to be treated without dignity or respect.

.......oh my .Don't do it not this one. This man has sexually harassed , and threaten me. Over 200.00 dollar s. Not only that I am a groomer and he owns two dogs . So he brought them to the shop that I work at and on a Saturday at that , and it takes 5 hrs to do two dogs , I took my time with them as I do with all to make them pretty . Ugh . They where so pretty. Even he texted me saying they were. Well then he emailed my boss stating they where not done right . That was in March . He has done nothing but caused drama at the shop where I work and has lied. My point on this is he will use your job and mix the loan and where you work . Against you . He is very very unprofessional. I should have known simply by the office , as I walked in two dogs where in office barking behind closed doors. when he opened the door . I Observed he is also living in there . Just a sad man .

My experience with Five Star has been absolutely awesome! Called and spoke with Daniel, very friendly and professional, was able to get the emergency loan for vehicle repairs. Took less than 30mins to get approved. Daniel has been very helpful and understanding, will try to do whatever he can to help out, always appreciate it! Thank you for the great customer service!
