Cash Store, Weatherford, TX

They advertised their new and efficient website as an alternative to driving during the winter storm. I went online and filled out all necessary documents to refinance my loan and was taken to a confirmation screen. Their website (2 Weeks Old) malfunctioned and the payment was withdrawn ACH from my account. I am a single mother with two children. I got a loan because I needed it. They overdrew my account and are fully admitting that it was their error yet saying they will do nothing about it. I would not recommend doing business with a financial institution that would launch and promote an ineffective website, taking advantage of people who don't have much.

They launched a website two weeks ago and advertised it as an alternative to driving in the ice and snow. After completing the necessary documents the website told me that I was done. I was shocked this morning when my account became overdrawn because the refinancing documents weren't received due to an error on their website. I will never do business with these people again because they will take advantage of you. The corporate is terrible and ANTONIO openly admitted that the error was on their side and that he himself nor anyone else really know what was going on. He told me and everyone at the store level that there was nothing he could do. This was their mistake for promoting a website that doesn't work and that no one understands how to operate. NOT MINE.

I’ve only taken a loan out twice , but the new manager Lexi has been so sweet and helpful each time. Never had any issues with this establishment. I especially like that I do not have to take in a blank check each time. It’s quick and easy.

Staff is very friendly and have great customer service. However if u get paid bimonthly it's horrible to pay back. No set repayment days as it changes every month. Screws my checking account and puts me in the negative every 2 weeks. Thanks a lot

NEVER take a loan from this store. I just received a call regarding a returned check from them from my loan many years ago. I paid my loan in full and then closed my bank account and opened a new one because I read cautionary tales such as this one on the internet, saying they kept taking money from people's accounts long after the loan was paid. Thank God I did!

Terrible experience. Was set up on auto pay, got a call to confirm my next payment. Due to fraud issues I had recently experienced, my bank declined the payment and instead of the cash store calling me they automatically sent my account to collections which I received the call about the next day informing me of that. My balance was paid off on September 1st which was confirmed when they called me to make the final payment. Two weeks later my account was charged over $360+ causing it to go negative and making me have to pay an overdraft fee. When I contacted the corporate office about this no one was able to give me an explanation as to why this money was taken out as my account since it was paid off on the 1st. They processed a refund but I still had to pay for the overdraft fee from my bank. Here I am again trying to get answers because my account was charged yesterday for another $360+ causing me to have to pay another overdraft fee. They are not able to tell me any reasoning behind these charges, only that they are issuing a refund again. Once my account was sent to collections they told me they were not able to set up auto pay so every payment was made by calling to do so. Not sure how they’re magically able to automatically take out money now especially considering that my account is paid off which has been confirmed every time I’ve called to try and get this issue resolved. Not to mention my scheduled payments were nowhere close to even $300 so the amount being charged makes no sense whatsoever. Seems like a big scam to me in hopes that people won’t catch it and just keep allowing the company to take money from them.
