Everyone at this branch is so friendly and helpful and easy to work with. I'll name drop the teller Maria, she is always so helpful and happy to explain how everything works. I'd definitely recommend MACU to anyone, especially if you're a beginner like me. They're very upfront about everything and easy to work with.

Can you give 0 stars? Mountain America for a Credit Union is great but DO NOT I repeat DO NOT EVER USE THEM FOR A MORTGAGE. I was told 4 times I was approved. We had to ask the seller for multiple extensions and then 2.5 weeks after we were suppose to close we are told we no longer qualify even with 800+ credit scores, 5x more income then required, and enough cash in the bank to purchase the home with cash. It makes absolutely no sense. The mortgage department is completely incompetent at Mountain America. It's really sad how bad it is because as a credit union they are actually pretty dang good. So just too reiterate. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE USE MOUNTAIN AMERICA for a HOME LOAN. You will be lied to, strung out and discarded with no regard. Update. The lender is saying the underwriter "changed her mind" and that is the reason I was approved then rejected. The truth is I had locked at a 4% interest rate and rather then the bank take the hit they denied the loan sine rates went to 6%. Would they have dropped the % rate if rates had declined? Absolutely not . Mountain America Lending should be avoided at ALL costs. Don't say "ill give them a chance, dont say i bank there so having my loan with them will be easier, Just say NO. Remember the words of Mrs Reagen. JUST SAY NO TO Mountain American as a Lender.

Teller was very friendly and took care of my request and double check with another employee to verify the correct procedure for an IRA.

It might have just been a bad day but my last experience there was only two tellers working so the wait time was pretty long once my turn everything went fast and the teller was kind and courteous.

I want to say that Mountaim America Credit Union went out of there way to help me with a problem that I was having. The sweet girl "Nicole" was very willing to take time and listen and worked hard to fix the problem. I have always been treated very well at Mountain America. I have been a member since I was 16 years old and have always had a good experience, no matter the problem or just making a transaction, they always are so quick to help. Thank you Mountain America for always being fantastic,always making sure all.is well. It means a lot

Everyone is so pleasant at our main branch on Main Street. Our favorite teller is Jet. He is always so very friendly and makes us feel welcome and valued as a customer. He's such a great employee and deserves to be recognized.

I would like to offer an awesome review for MACU in general. I am very impressed with this financial institution and all of it's wonderful, dynamic and thoughtful employees. One in particular, however, Leanna Handy, is extraordinary. She worked with me on an auto loan recently and went above and beyond with her service. She is a fine, friendly, generous, courteous, attentive and very patient lady who is indeed a tremendous asset to MACU. This lady deserves a raise and as she is a genuine master of customer service! I don't come to a branch too often, but any time I do I go to this one because they always address me by name and treat me like a regular!
